PUBLIC SERVICE PROGRAM <br /> Human Resources Program Function <br /> -and-Settee-Standards <br /> This Program is responsible for personnel services including training for City staff, <br /> advertisements for employment opportunities, complying with the Affirmative Action Plan <br /> and providing a safe work environment by developing a safety plan and implementing <br /> it to minimize losses. Staffing for this Program include a percentage of costs for the <br /> Administration Clerk and Assistant to the City Administrator. <br /> PROGRAM OBJECTIVE <br /> * Maintain personnel files in accordance with the relevant Federal, State and Local <br /> Laws <br /> * Provide training and professional growth opportunities for staff <br /> * Recruit and maintain quality employees <br /> * Provide competitive compensation program for employees based on performance <br /> standards and maintain compliance with Pay Equity Law. <br /> BUDGET IMPACT <br /> Personnel: <br /> The position of Assistant to the City Administrator will remain unfilled in 1996. It is <br /> anticipated that in 1997 the position will once again be filled and the position of <br /> 8 <br />
