Brick attended a three day seminar in Grand Rapids regarding emergency <br /> services. <br /> In April, we had our first report of gang graffiti occurring at Greenfield Park, and <br /> Landmark Estates. Vandals caused a lot of damage for a two month period, but <br /> activity in this area has slowed. <br /> The Chief and Lt. Brick attended a Chief's Conference in St. Cloud. <br /> Members of our reserve unit and our Department participated in a tri-county <br /> disaster drill held in White Bear Lake. <br /> This summer, we had our first reported "purse snatch." This occurred in the <br /> Pinewood area, during the day. Suspects have not been arrested. <br /> In May, Fedor's Market was a victim of a smash and grab. The store was hit a <br /> total of three times. A suspect was arrested and charged. <br /> A crime prevention meeting was held at Wildwood Manor. <br /> Pat Michna and the Chief attended a Data Privacy seminar held in Minneapolis. <br /> A five year old girl drowned in her grandparent's bathtub. She had a history of <br /> seizures. Efforts to revive her failed. <br /> Tom Baumgart attended a week long Crime Prevention School. Bob Nelson <br /> attended a Death Scene Investigation School in Duluth. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br />
