DEVELOPMENT <br /> On Wednesday evening, the Planning Commission gave final approval to the Midwest <br /> I.V. proposal for the development—oT t • - " • -• • -. - - • • anding <br /> issue (parking) to be resolved by the Planning Commission was addressed by the <br /> applicant in their updated site plan. Formal action by the Council on this request is <br /> scheduled for August 28. <br /> HARSTAD COMPLAINT <br /> As you may or may not know, Keith Harstad has filed a complaint against the City for <br /> denying his application to construct townhomes along County Road H2. The <br /> complaint alleges that Mr. Harstad has proper zoning to construct the townhomes - a <br /> fact Staff and the City Attorney disagree with. A response to the complaint has been <br /> drafted and submitted to the court for consideration. I will keep you posted on the <br /> developments in this case. <br /> Paul <br /> PARKS, RECREATION AND FORESTRY <br /> PARKS <br /> * Thursday, August 10 was Adam's last day in parks. Adam has been working with <br /> the Parks crew, under Steve Dazenski's excellent supervision for over a year <br /> through the JPTA program. Adam is a Mounds View resident and student in the <br /> school district. He will concentrate on graduating and then pursue mechanics <br /> work. <br /> * This week the Parks crew has been working on many washouts as a result of the <br /> heavy rains received over the weekend. Washout locations included Greenfield <br /> park pathway and the entrance to the parking lot off Woodcrest Drive at <br /> Woodcrest Park. <br />
