The total number of residences in Mounds View is <br /> 26 2,900. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 4) The city claims they have no money for Street Repair and now they can spend <br /> 29 $800,000 for new meters? <br /> 30 <br /> 31 The street improvements are funded through the General Fund. Improvements to the <br /> 32 water system comes from a separate fund. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 5) How many different meters are there to choose from and are there different prices? <br /> 35 <br /> 36 The City went out for a Request for Proposal and received two responses. Of those <br /> 37 submitted,the City took the most cost effective system over a minimum useful life of 20 <br /> 38 years. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 6) Are there any other cities who are replacing all of their water meters? <br /> 41 <br /> 42 The City of Mound has replaced all of their meters, the City of New Brighton replaced <br />
