this program, including the following activities: <br /> 1. Develop policy statements, affirmative action <br /> programs, and internal and external <br /> communication techniques to be certain the <br /> City of Mounds View's policies are being <br /> followed. In addition, supervisors shall be <br /> advised that: <br /> a. their work performance is being <br /> evaluated on the basis of their <br /> affirmative action efforts and <br /> results, as well as other criteria; <br /> and <br /> b. the City- of Mounds View is obligated <br /> to prevent harassment of employees <br /> placed through affirmative action <br /> efforts. <br /> 2 . Identify problem areas in conjunction with <br /> Department Heads and known disabled employees, <br /> in the implementation of the affirmative <br /> action plan and develop solutions . <br /> 3 . Design and implement an audit and reporting <br /> system that will: <br /> a. measure effectiveness of the City- of <br /> Mounds View's plan; <br /> b. indicate need for remedial action; <br /> c. determine the degree to which <br /> objectives have been attained; <br /> d. ensure that each department is in <br /> compliance with the Minnesota Human <br /> Rights Act. <br /> 4. Serve as liaison between the City of Mounds <br /> View and the Minnesota Department of Human <br /> Rights . <br /> 5 . Serve as liaison between the City of Mounds <br /> View and organizations of and for disabled <br /> persons. <br /> 6. Keep Department Heads informed of the latest <br /> developments in the entire Affirmative Action <br /> area. <br /> 21 <br />
