* This week, Dave Brick attended a three day Emergency Management School. This is the first in a series of mandatory schools to maintain the certification. * We have hada lot of trouble with our squad cars the past week. Overheating, oil leaks, MDT's etc. Everything is mostly fixed. Tim FINANCE E-mail is very interesting. It helps improve communication between employees, departments, and buildings. Thanks to E-mail we know that Phyllis is home and doing better which pleases all of us. Through E-mail we learn if one of us will be out of the office due to meetings, training, illness, and vacations. This week E-mail told me, that Mary Tatarek was in charge of the Finance Department. So, here I am writing "This Is It". The reason I am "in charge", according to E-mail, is that Don Brager went on vacation for the last 3 days of this week. The budget newsletter has been delivered and there is a break in the action before the next budget meeting and the auditors arrive in November. Dorothy has rearranged her office space to make room for another computer. WaterPro has been in this week setting up the second computer with the software needed to work with the new water meter system. According to E-mail, Dorothy has also been busy outside of work rearranging things at her father's home. The home has been sold and the "Moving Sale" is being held this week. Kitty, jokingly said that Dorothy rearranged her office into Kitty's office. According to E-mail, Kitty took a vacation day Wednesday and helped out at the Clubhouse for a few hours on Thursday. Kitty is also involved with the changing water meter system and is attending the informational meeting with WaterPro Friday morning. If you had access to E-mail then you would probably know that I went to a seminar on sales and use tax this week. This week accounts payable were processed. Tree removal bills went out this week with the regular accounts receivable.
