FORESTRY: <br /> * Rick and crew have continued with their normal fall activities. Doing plantings, <br /> trimming, and preparing for the winter. <br /> GOLF COURSE: <br /> * Things continue as normal at golf course. People are still enjoying playing a <br /> round when the weather cooperates. Practice Range is still getting its use. <br /> * John has been continuing to work on all daily maintenance duties with the golf <br /> course. <br /> * Golf hours have been shortened not only due to shortened daylight but also <br /> due to morning frost. <br /> CABLE TV <br /> * Sue Henry, the new cable technician/producer, has been learning how to use <br /> the equipment, met with the cable committee, broadcast her first Council <br /> Meeting, and spent time at the Cable TV office in Roseville. <br /> POLICE <br /> * We conducted the written examination for police applicants last <br /> Saturday. A total of 97 people took the test. The next step is to get <br /> the results and arrange for interviews. <br /> * Larry Siluk was at a "sex crimes" seminar last week. The <br /> seminar lasted three days and was held Brainard. <br /> * Linda Meyer and husband took their first trip to Las Vegas. <br /> The Chief is the only one in the office that's never been there. <br /> * The Chief attended a Ramsey Co. Chief's meeting last week and a <br /> Rotary luncheon on Tuesday. At the Rotary, he was given bicycle <br /> lights to distribute to kids in the City. (only ten lights) <br />
