At that time Comm Center, the City' s radio vendor provided a <br /> unit for us to use while damages were being assessed to our base <br /> The remainder of the summer and fall were extremely busy for bothloaner <br /> As a result of hectic schedules, the issue of repairing or replacing <br /> station. <br /> radio was not a high parties . <br /> g priority. p acing the <br /> Comm Center inspected the City' s radio, <br /> sustained was too extreme to repair. Their opinion of the dmage andto our radio <br /> was confirmed. <br /> Capitol Communications has provided the City with a quote to replace <br /> base station. While this radio is more expensive than the previous <br /> it is built with a modular component design and offers far better p ge the <br /> lightning model, <br /> g g protection. Staff was very impress with Capitols recommendations <br /> and knowledge regarding radio surge and <br /> license, it was noted that Mounds View eonly has researching <br /> aclicenseefor9 City' s radiobie <br /> units and 5 portable radios .
