REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS - PROFESSIONAL LEGAL SERVICES <br /> PAGE 9 <br /> VIII. CONTRACT ETHICS <br /> 1. The firm shall not assign any interest in this contract and shall not transfer any <br /> interest in the same without the prior written consent of the City. <br /> 2. The firm shall not accept any client or project which places it in a conflict of <br /> interest with its representation of the City of Mounds View. If such a conflict of <br /> interest is subsequently discovered, the members shall at all times comport their <br /> representation of the City with the Code of Professional Responsibility. <br /> 3. The firm shall not approach Councilmembers or staff on an individual basis <br /> regarding this proposal. Any contact shall be officially made through the City <br /> Administrator who will in turn make all information available to the Selection <br /> Committee and City Council for their final selection session. <br /> 4. The City requires affirmative action, and therefore, the firm selected shall not <br /> discriminate under the contract against any person in accordance with federal, <br /> state or local regulation, and shall certify such in their proposal. <br />
