• I met with Kim Halverson from AA Environmental Service regarding the Phase I <br /> Environmental Study for 2625 Highway 10. They will be doing preliminary work <br /> this week and final report findings early next week. <br /> • An NSP field representative has reviewed the areas we are requesting to hang Banners <br /> on County Road I this week. They will be assessing the Guides on the poles to <br /> ensure that the poles can handle the added stress of the banners. After reviewing the <br /> location and specific poles, NSP has approved the Banners. They will be drafting a <br /> letter to this regard of which I will forward to Ramsey County. <br /> • In order to secure at least three bids for demolition of 2625 Highway 10, I have <br /> contacted several companies. So far I have one quote from Herbst & Sons, a Mounds <br /> View business. The other companies I have contacted eittier have trot returned my <br /> call or have not submitted a bid yet. I will wait a couple more weeks but otherwise <br /> Herbst & Sons where highly recommended by the Cities of Blaine and New Brighton. <br /> Cathy <br /> TUG <br /> Dawn and I attended a Contract Negotiations Subgroup meeting, coordinated by TUG, <br /> Tuesday, November 7th. Discussion focused on labor contract issues, such as salary and . <br /> benefit proposals, of Police Officer negotiations and Maintenance Worker negotiations. <br /> Also, Dawn and I attended a regular TUG meeting, Thursday, November 9th. Two speakers <br /> presented information pertaining to Customer Service Training Options. <br /> Lynnette <br /> PARKS, RECREATION AND FORESTRY <br /> PARKS: <br /> * The area where the bonfire was held at City Hall soccer field was prepared for <br /> summer seeding. Litter cleanup and wood and trash removal was completed. <br /> * Sprinkling systems were blown out during the beginning of the week. <br /> * Hillview Park was prepared for a larger space for the pleasure skating rink. <br />
