■ ■ ■ ■ <br /> THlS IS <br /> For the Week of January 30, 1995 - February 3, 1995 <br /> ADMINISTRATION <br /> Brager Update <br /> Don Brager, who experienced some shortness of breath and chest <br /> pain last weekend, was hospitalized for a stress test and is <br /> reportedly doing fine. I spoke with him on Wednesday and he <br /> stated that he did not "collapse" as his son first reported and <br /> that his friend's wife "over reacted" . He was in good spirit and <br /> very anxious to complete the tests and go home. <br /> Work Session/Legislative Representatives <br /> Senator Novak has a schedule conflict Monday night and will not <br /> be able to attend the Work Session. His office will try to <br /> reschedule his appointments so that he could meet with the <br /> Council on Wednesday, February 8, just prior to the discussions <br /> about the 5 Year Goal Plan. I will let you know Monday. <br /> Silver Lake Pointe Apartments <br /> The official ground breaking for the senior apartments is slated <br /> for next Wednesday, February 8 at 10: 30 a.m. at the site. Cathy <br /> has been working with the developers to receive media attention <br /> for the project. We are hoping to get the press release in all <br /> papers prior to the ceremony. An invitation has been included in <br /> your packet. We will post notice of the ceremony in case there is <br /> a quorum of Councilmembers able to attend. Please let me know if <br /> you are planning to attend. <br /> 1995 Five Year Goal Plan <br /> Because we had such a short time Saturday afternoon to give the <br /> last 5 goals adequate attention, Council and staff will meet next <br /> Wednesday, February 8 at 5: 30 p.m. , to continue the discussion <br /> regarding the 1995 Goal Plan. The meeting has been posted. <br /> Because the meeting will take place through the dinner hour, a <br /> meal will be provided. Tim and I have been working on updating <br />
