THIS IS
11 . 1 . 1
For the Week of February 6, 1995 - February 10, 1995
ADMINISTRATION
The Community Recognition Dinner Committee has tentatively set
the date for March 31st. This was the only date that the band,
White Sidewalls, will be available. Sharie Linke and Jan Quick
are once again the organizing geniuses that will make the night a
real "Event" . Because of the new State Ethics Law, we will not be
able to accept donations or door prizes from local businesses.
Consequently, there will have to be a charge to everyone, except
those receiving awards or special recognition, of no more than
$10. I hope that the fee will not prevent people from attending
as the event is always such fun. So, mark your calendar for March
31st.
Silver View Pointe Groundbreaking
Councilmembers Trude and Blanchard, Commissioner Wedell, former
Representative Geri Evans, Tim Cruikshank, Paul Harrington and I
attended the brief and very c-c-c-cold ceremony on Wednesday. It
appears that everything is on schedule. Jeff Huggett has provided
us with a small architectural rendering of the completed project
that we will include in the next issue of the newsletter. We hope
to receive a larger one in the next month that we can place in
the lobby.
1995 Council Five Year Goal Plan
Wednesday night's meeting was very productive! Tim has begun to
finalize the Plan which will be provided to you on Monday for
final review before publication.
