• Ramsey County recently mailed Valuation Notices to taxpayers for taxes <br /> payable in 1996. These notices inform taxpayers of the Estimated Market <br /> Value that has been assigned to their property for property taxes that they will <br /> pay in 1996. If a taxpayer disagrees with the value assigned to their property <br /> now is the time to appeal it. The appeals process is outlined on the back of <br /> the notice. <br /> Don <br /> FAUBUC WORKS <br /> * Staff repaired a water main break Sunday on Groveland Road. The repair took <br /> place without incident. Thanks to Phyllis Blanchard for calling in the break! <br /> * Many of the staff are attending various training sessions this and next week. <br /> Bill Hanggi attended a workshop for a Class A Water operators <br /> certificate. <br /> Mark is attending a Hazardous Materials workshop for 3 days. <br /> Tim Pittman will be attending a tire repair workshop. <br /> All staff is attending Competent Person training for confined space entry, <br /> and trenching. <br /> Gary, Tim Fredberg, and Tim Pittman will attend a sweeper operator <br /> and maintenance seminar. <br /> Wally, Larry, and Jim Hess are attending an Inspection workshop. <br /> Gary and Tim Fredberg will be attending a concrete seminar. <br /> As you can see the spring gets very busy with training opportunities, as well as <br /> scheduled maintenance activities. <br /> * Staff met with representatives from Braun and SEH to discuss the pavement <br /> management program and training the employees in the rating of streets. Staff <br /> will begin rating streets as time and weather permits in the next three weeks. <br /> * Staff has inspected and reviewed the two well pump repairs and <br /> recommendations. Televising of the wells is scheduled for Thursday of this <br /> week, and installation of the hardware to follow in the coming days. This <br /> project is proceeding very well, and wells should be back on line well before <br /> the deadline. <br /> * Staff met with a representative from NSP to review the City's electric rates and <br />
