Consideration of Authorization of the Purchase of Sanitary <br /> 14 Sewer Inspection Software <br /> 15 <br /> 16 Mike Ulrich, Director of Public Works, reported that funds <br /> 17 were requested for the purchase of flow monitoring equipment <br /> 18 from the Wastewater Budget. The amount requested for this <br /> 19 purchase was accurate; however, additional funds are required <br /> 20 for the purchase of computer software which would accurately <br /> 21 track the amount of infiltration, cracks in service lines or <br /> 22 mainlines, or any type of irregularities of the sewer service <br /> 23 system. Staff is requesting approval for the sum of $2,400 to <br /> 24 be funded from the Wastewater Budget for this purchase. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 Councilmember Trude asked if the sanitary sewer inspection <br /> 27 software would help track down problem areas and enable more <br /> 28 efficient record keeping. Mr. Ulrich responded that it would. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Trude to Authorize the Purchase of <br /> 31 Sanitary Sewer Inspection Software in the Amount of $2 ,400 to <br /> 32 be Funded from the Wastewater Budget <br /> 33 <br /> 34 VOTE: 3 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> 35 <br /> 36 B.
