RESOLUTION NO. 4780 <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4731 ESTABLISHING A <br /> UNIFORM SCHEDULE OF FEES AND CHARGES <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, by resolution, sets fees to cover the cost of various <br /> services and the administration of the same provided by the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the current fee of $100 for hydrant deposit will not cover the potential <br /> damage resulting from the misuse or improper operation of the hydrant; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff is recommending the deposit be changed to $300 to adequately <br /> —recover the-cost--c repair--of-a--dam-aged-hydrant;-and <br /> WHEREAS, at the April 10, 1995 Council Meeting Ordinance No. 553 Entitled, <br /> "Cigarettes and Tobacco Products" which provides for the licensing of vendors, restrictions <br /> on vending machines and administrative penalties for violators was approved; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff is recommending a fee of $150 per year to cover the costs of <br /> licensing the vendors of cigarettes and tobacco products; and <br /> WHEREAS, the current filing fee for candidacy is $5.00; and <br /> WHEREAS, the current filing fee is not adequate to cover the administrative services <br /> for those filing for candidacy; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff is recommending a $35.00 candidacy filing fee to adequately cover <br /> the administrative services costs for those candidates running for office in the City of <br /> Mounds View. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Mounds <br /> View hereby amends Resolution No. 4731 Establishing a Uniform Schedule of Fees and <br /> Charges by adding the following: <br /> Water Hydrant Deposit $300 <br /> Cigarettes and Tobacco Products $150/Year <br /> Candidacy Filing Fee $35.00 <br /> Adopted this 12th day of June, 1995. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Mayor <br /> (SEAL) <br /> City Administrator <br />
