RESOLUTION NO. 4753 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE BARGAINING UNIT CONTRACT AND THE 1995 <br /> COMPENSATION SCHEDULE AND INSURANCE CONTRIBUTION SCHEDULE FOR THE <br /> PUBLIC WORKS AND PARKS MAINTENANCE BARGAINING UNIT <br /> WHEREAS, the Public Works and Parks Maintenance Bargaining Unit agreed to abide by <br /> the award of the arbitrator in the matter of interest arbitration between the City of Mounds <br /> View and the Police Union, and - <br /> WHEREAS, the arbitrator made a decision on the arbitration award in March, 1995; and <br /> WHEREAS, the 1994 award was approved by the City Council at the 3/27/95 Council <br /> meeting, and <br /> WHEREAS, the 1995 Public Works and Parks Maintenance Compensation Schedule is <br /> presented which reflects a 2.50% annual compensation adjustment, which is consistent <br /> with the award of the arbitrator; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is proposed that the City continue to make a contribution toward the cost of <br /> employee health insurance; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> 1. The Public Works and Parks Maintenance Bargaining Unit contract for 1994 <br /> and 1995 be approved, effective 1/1/94 to 12/31 95, and <br /> 2. The 1995 base wage Public Works and Parks Maintenance Bargaining Unit <br /> personnel shall be as specified in the 1995 Compensation Schedule B, <br /> effective 1/1/95, and <br /> 3. The City shall make a contribution of up to $330/month (Schedule E) <br /> towards the cost of family health insurance and shall pay the entire premium <br /> for full-time single health insurance coverage, effective 1/1/95. <br /> Adopted this 24th day of April, 1995. <br /> ATTEST <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> SEAL <br /> Samantha Orduno, City Administrator <br />
