16.2 Employees filling a higher job level based on the <br /> provisions of this ARTICLE shall be subject to the <br /> conditions of ARTICLE XIV (PROBATIONARY PERIOD) . <br /> 16. 3 The EMPLOYER has the right of final decision in the <br /> selection of employees to fill posted jobs based on <br /> qualifications, abilities and experience. <br /> 16.4 Job vacancies within the designated bargaining unit <br /> will be posted for five (5) working days so that <br /> members of the bargaining unit can be considered for <br /> such vacancies. <br /> ARTICLE XVII. INSURANCE <br /> 17. 1 The CITY will contribute up to a maximum of three <br /> hundred ten dollars ($310. 00) per month per employee <br /> for group health and life insurance for dependent <br /> coverage for calendar 1994 and three hundred thirty <br /> dollars ($330) per month per employee for group health <br /> and life insurance for dependent coverage for calendar <br /> 1995. <br /> 17 .2 By mutual agreement EMPLOYEES may use twenty-five <br /> dollars ($25. 00) of the per month per employee of <br /> health insurance dollars for dental insurance. <br /> 17. 3 EMPLOYEES not choosing dependent coverage cannot be <br /> covered at CITY expense for any additional insurance <br /> than the individual group health and group life <br /> insurance. Additional life insurance can be <br /> purchased by EMPLOYEES at the EMPLOYEE's expense to the <br /> extent allowed under the CITY's group policy. <br /> ARTICLE XVIII INJURY ON DUTY. <br /> The Injury on duty benefit will be sixty (60) days with the first <br /> three (3) days to come out of sick leave and then sixty (60) days <br /> injury on duty. Any days beyond the sixty (60) days will then be <br /> taken from the EMPLOYEE's banked sick leave. EMPLOYEES receiving <br /> benefits under this ARTICLE shall not receive payments from the <br /> CITY which causes the EMPLOYEE to earn more than the EMPLOYEE's <br /> after tax take home pay earned while working. <br /> ARTICLE XIX. CLOTHING. <br /> 19 . 1 The CITY will provide each EMPLOYEE with one (1) winter <br /> jacket every two (2) years. The winter jacket is to be <br /> cleaned and kept in repair by the employee. <br /> 8 <br />
