Parks - Minnesota Non-Commercial <br /> Herbicide/Pesticide Applicator <br /> License/Certificate and completion of <br /> liability training in parks operations (LMC <br /> Safety and Loss Control Workshop) . Attendance <br /> at a workshop or seminar related to turf <br /> management and demonstration of a working <br /> knowledge of those principles. <br /> Streets - Certification of completion of <br /> training in MMUTCD signing and striping <br /> practices, successful completion (passing <br /> grades) in Public Works classes (8 credit <br /> hours of materials and engineering, <br /> equipment, public works or similar class <br /> approved by the supervisor) at North Hennepin <br /> Community College or similar institution, and <br /> completion of liability training for public <br /> works operations (LMC Safety and Loss Control <br /> Workshop) <br /> Sewer - Class S-C Waste Water Operator's <br /> Certificate. Certification of completion of <br /> training MMUTCD signing and striping <br /> practices, successful completion (passing <br /> grades) in Public Works classes (4 credit <br /> hours of materials, engineering, equipment, <br /> public works or similar class approved by the <br /> supervisor) at North Hennepin Community <br /> College or similar institution, and <br /> completion of liability training for public <br /> works operations (LMC Safety and Loss Control <br /> Workshop) <br /> Multiple Areas - Employees who meet the <br /> requirements for Level C classification in 3 <br /> or more areas; and must be normally assigned <br /> to these areas on a regular basis; <br /> irrespective of stand-by duty. Employees <br /> achieving Level D Classification for skill in <br /> multiple areas must make substantial effort <br /> on an annual basis to receive the training <br /> and achieve required licensing for Level D in <br /> the area to which they are primarily <br /> assigned. <br /> For Level C employees, the following areas must be <br /> satisfactory on the most recent performance review <br /> in order to be classified as Level D. <br /> Ability to lead a work crew. <br /> Ability to assist in scheduling other <br /> employees, materials, equipment and <br /> activities. <br /> 12 <br />
