COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT
PUBLIC WATER EMERGENCY AND CONSERVATION PLAN
Mike Ulrich and I met with Steve Campbell and Randy Thoreson of SEH to begin
discussion and work on the state mandated Public Water Emergency and
Conservation Plan. The Plan will identify City water resources, needs and usage.
Ackey component will also be the prioritization of water usage in the event-ora
shortage. The City is required to have the Plan in place by January 1, 1996.
Council should see a first draft in early summer.
MANUFACTURED HOME PARK CLOSING ORDINANCE
Staff held the first meeting of the task force established to draft the Manufactured
Home Park Closing Ordinance recently. The members of the task force were
allowed to comment on issues ranging from reimbursement for relocation costs to
notification of intent to close. The task force has agreed to have all comments and
recommendations to City Staff in time for inclusion in the May 1 City Council Work
Session packet.
Paul H.
