At the
January 4th staff
meeting the topic of in-house communication was discussed. It was
determined that This Is It will be expanded to incorporate "Staff
Stuff" and will be distributed to all staff, instead of just
Council and Department Heads. This ruling is very helpful in
cities' fights to awaken the United States Environmental
Protection Agency to the inequities involved in pursuing cleanup
of Superfund sites --especially when EPA lumps cities and private
industry together. While this is but one step in a long journey
toward equity in environmental law, it is a very important step.
Everest's C.G.
