* On January 28 we had 130 third graders from Golden Lake
Elementary tour our Water Treatment Plant 1 and Garage.
* Mike and Bill Hanggi attended Water School every Monday (13
weeks) and will take their exam on February 7, 1994. Bill is taking
his Class B, which is required to operate the City's Water Plants
and Mike is taking his Class A, the highest class available.
* The One-Ton Chlorine Scales are in operation at Water Treatment
Plant 1 and the Booster Station pipes and floor were painted a
couple of weeks ago.
* Autocon has repaired the water damage done by the painting crew
at Water Treatment Plant 2. (This happened when they sprayed the
walls down with water and water got into the control panels.)
Repair should be completed within the next couple of weeks.
* Mike hosted a Minnesota Streets Superintendent Association
Meeting on January 11 , 1994 at Donatelles.
* Staff is working on getting the documentation regarding past MSA
projects for payments (State Aid).
* The final report on Pavement Management System should be
completed with the next two weeks. We are proposing to put
Bronson Drive, from Edgewood Drive to Quincy Street, as an MSA
designated street. This will complete our total mileage allotment.
* Cheryl has completed her snow plowing training and has been out
a few times on her own. (She's doing great!!)
* Mike was on vacation in Wisconsin during the week of January 17,
snowmobiling.
Tracy
