Since time is a key issue, this item has been
placed on the February Work Session. This issue is also a key FOCUS 2000
recommendation.
Carla is presently working on a clean-up day activity that may be smaller
in scope than previous cleanup days. If the Council is desirous of
reinstating a cleanup day this spring, staff will need direction as soon
as possible as to the desired scope and time schedule. Staff receives many
calls each year from 'residents who want a community-wide cleanup day and
appear quite willing to pay increased fees for the convenience.
Councilmember Trude has also requested that the Council discuss the
following FOCUS 2000 recommendations:
*
Timing of the creation of the FOCUS 2000 recommendation for a Housing
Commission.
