One of the issues <br /> that must be addressed and resolved prior to the opening of the course is <br /> the condition of the judicial ditch which runs through the golf course <br /> property. The Rice Creek Watershed's calendar proposes to inspect the ditch <br /> in 1995 and make necessary flow adjustments. Both the City of Blaine and <br /> the City of Mounds View have projects pending which greatly depend on the <br /> ditch being inspected and improved upon prior to 1995. <br /> I believe it to be in the best interests of the City to formally adopt a <br /> resolution which would request that the RCW accelerate their plans for the <br /> judicial ditch. It must be noted however, that such a request and a strong <br /> position supporting the request may result in a shared cost. Hopefully, the <br /> shared cost will include the two cities as well as RCW. <br /> Councilmember Quick will provide information regarding his concerns about <br /> the culverts on the golf course property. <br /> `'4'.t-' -... <br /> Cityes �,dnistr or <br /> Samanth.
