CABLE TV:
The Cable TV Committee hosted the New Brighton Cable TV Committee
last Wednesday to discuss joint programming and joint projects which
incorporate both cities and residents such as school events, State
Representatives and legislative issues, community festivals and other
similar activities. The Committees have agreed to meet quarterly. The
February "A View From the Mound" is playing. Jerry is vacating his Cable
TV room for construction and is moving in with the Parks, Recreation &
Forestry Department until which time we can all move upstairs.
Jerry had a freelance job last week in Dallas, Texas working audio for a
big television marketing firm for making medical commercials. He is
gaining experience with the "big wigs" in television in hopes of landing a
job some day with television and movies. Who knows, someday we may
see his name on credits of some Oscar winning film!
POLICE
Kathy Bednar leaves on the 17th to Las Vegas in hopes in winning
lots of money, and plans on R and R in the sun with her husband.
The civil defense device was on the blink, however, is
now fixed.
The big basketball game against Irondale High School AIN
is April 15th. Practice has begun this week.
Dave is cleaning the metal that holds the ceiling tiles
in place, he whistles while he works.
Larry let a cold blast of air in while cleaning the newly
installed window in his current office.
