■ ■ ■ ■ <br /> THlS IS <br /> For the Week of February 28, 1994 - March 4, 1994 <br /> ADMINISTRATION <br /> What a week!I J I I Between construction, moving, interviews, scheduled and <br /> unscheduled meetings, phone calls and more phone calls, our heads haven't stopped <br /> spinning. So-o-o-o-o-o-o, please have patience and know that soon we will turn back <br /> into the staff you adore. Right now, we're a cross between war torn Bosnia and a fire <br /> sale. <br /> On Tuesday, we interviewed 9 candidates for the Economic Development <br /> Coordinator. One of the candidates had car trouble and couldn't make the interview <br /> time scheduled, so we are meeting with him on Friday morning. The plan is to have a <br /> candidate selected by early next week so a conditional offer of employment can be <br /> made next week, pending Council approval and a physical. <br /> Saturn/Multi-Tech/C.G. Hill <br /> According to Jim Casserly, who met with Don Brager and myself this morning, <br /> Everest is negotiating with Multi-Tech and Saturn for a development which would <br /> complete that portion of Business Park North. It appears that Saturn will acquire only <br /> 23,000 sq. ft. of the land immediately to the east of their present site; discussions are <br /> taking place with Multi-Tech to go beyond present expansion plans of only 30,000 sq. <br /> ft. and expand to more than 60,000 sq. ft. with the remaining parcel in between <br /> developed as a multi-use building (AKA a "spec" building that Everest would build for <br /> least). <br /> A formal proposal from Everest will be delivered next week. At the same time, copies <br /> will be sent to Springsted and Jim O'Meara for their review. The proposal will include <br /> a summary of the financial analysis which Jim Casserly has conducted at Everest's <br />
