The bid request asked that haulers incorporate all their costs into the <br /> prices to be charged to the resident, as there is no City money available for clean-up <br /> events. As a result, I expect the bids to be high...but I believe that there are many <br /> residents that will be willing to pay higher costs for the convenience of a local drop- <br /> off. <br /> I'm also in the process of arranging another curbside appliance collection. As you <br /> may recall, our Fall appliance collection was very successful both in terms of the <br /> number of appliances collected (over 100) and financially (completely financed by <br /> user fees). I haven't set a date as of yet; hopefully the appliance collection can be <br /> heldon thesame dayasbrush drop-off. <br /> CARLA <br />
