o g Concrete
Surfacing, Inc.
P.O. Box 185 • Rogers, Minnesota 55374 • (612) 535-2644 • Fax (612)535-6934
Mr. Rick Jarson
City of Moundsview
2401 Hwy 10
Moundsview, MN. 55112
Dear Mr. Jarson:
Thank you for the opportunity to introduce our company, products and services that we
offeras a factory qualified applicator of_commercial and industrial floor coatings.
P.S.I. began business as an industrial cleaning service approximately eleven years
ago. We completed projects for contractors and private owners throughout the Midwest.
As a part of this process, we evaluated alternate methods of preparing surfaces to
receive the new sophisticated industrial coatings that are entering the market place.
Our goal was to identify the optimal combination of preparation and product that would
bring to our clients the best possible results. It became evident that the
combination of Blastrac floors with the appropriate coating system would add many
years to the life of concrete surfaces.
Blastrac is a unique process that incorporates a self contained, portable shot
blasting method of surface preparation. It is a "one-step" method that strips, cleans
and etches all at once. Steel shot is hurled to the floor at high speed through a
completely enclosed centrifugal wheel. The surface is left dry and chemically free
without generating dust pollution and totally eliminating any drying time required
before coatings can be applied. Since the pores of the concrete are opened, a variety
of floor systems will adhere successfully, including methyl methacrylate, epoxies,
urethanes, polyesters, vinyls, sealers, etc.
We have found these products to be very successful in a variety of applications. They
offer many outstanding features including:
* Minimal downtime (one hour cure to forklift traffic) .
* Solvent free water based products.
* Odorless applications.
* Various systems from light sealers to heavy troweled floors.
* High strength for wear, impact and abrasion resistance.
Enclosedplease find the specifications and estimate for your floor as we discussed.
If you have any further questions, feel free to call me at any time.
Sincr.v,
Jerry Kron
Sales Manager
