Rice Creek Watershed District Great news! I had lunch on Wednesday with Kate Drewry, the Executive Administrator for the Rice Creek Watershed District. We discussed the possibility of the Watershed District cleaning Judicial Ditch #1 this year, or at the very least in '95. Kate stated that she felt that it would be possible for the ditch to be cleaned this year and timeframe would have it completed by November. Everest In your packet you will find the latest proposal from Everest via Jim Casserly. Everest is requesting a special council meeting to discuss the proposal. When we discussed this meeting at the March 7th Work Session the date that had been selected, March 22nd, was not a possibility. Both Casserly and Everest can meet on Wednesday, March 23 at 5:30 p.m. If this meeting time is acceptable, please let Tim Cruikshank know so that he can confirm with Everest on Tuesday. Budget The 1994 budget books will be ready in the next couple of weeks. I take full responsibility for the delay as I have been redrafting the budget message. Please accept my apologies for the lateness but I feel that you will be very pleased with the results. Samantha 4".111111/ Steve and Jeff have PARKS retrieved the Cushman out of winter storage preparing it for summer field grooming. Several parts are being replaced and additional maintenance is being done to ensure its longevity. In addition, Jeff has been sweeping the park turf along the streets to rid it of winter dirt, sand and debris. This is being done before the frost lifts and the turf becomes too soft.
