<br />Item No: 08B <br />Meeting Date: February 8, 2010 <br />Type of Business: CA <br />Administrator Review: ____ <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />From: Desaree Crane, Assistant City Clerk-Administrator <br /> <br />Item Title/Subject: Resolution 7576, Authorizing Great Lakes Shipwreck <br />Preservation Society to Conduct a One Day Charitable <br />Gambling Event (Raffle) on February 27, 2010, at The <br />Mermaid. <br /> <br /> <br />Discussion: <br /> <br />The Great Lakes Shipwreck Preservation Society (based in Fridley, Minnesota) held a <br />raffle at the Mermaid Entertainment and Event Center last year (February 28, 2009). As <br />it was done last year, the Great Lakes Shipwreck Preservation Society would like to <br />hold a raffle again this year at the Mermaid Entertainment and Event Center on <br />February 27, 2010. The Great Lakes Shipwreck Preservation Society was formed as an <br />instrument to restore and stabilize shipwrecks of the Great Lakes region.
