RESOLUTION NO. 7576 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING THE GREAT LAKES SHIPWRECK PRESERVATION <br />SOCIETY A ONE DAY PERMIT TO CONDUCT CHARITABLE GAMBLING (RAFFLE) <br />AT THE MERMAID ENTERAINMENT AND EVENT CENTER IN MOUNDS VIEW <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Great Lakes Shipwreck Preservation Society has requested that <br />the Council allow them to conduct charitable gambling at The Mermaid Entertainment <br />and Event Center on February 27, 2010; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board requires that the local unit of <br />government pass a resolution specifically approving or denying requests to conduct <br />charitable gambling; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Great Lakes Shipwreck Preservation Society is in compliance <br />with all requirements of the Mounds View Municipal Code with regard to charitable <br />gambling regulations. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby authorize the Great Lakes Shipwreck Preservation Society to conduct <br />charitable gambling at The Mermaid Entertainment and Event Center on February 27, <br />2010. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 8th day of February, 2010. <br /> <br /> <br /> ______________________________ <br /> Joe Flaherty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> _______________________________ <br />James Ericson, Clerk-Administrator <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />(seal) <br />
