Mounds View City Council March 22, 2010 <br />Regular Meeting Page 7 <br /> <br />4650-7050-312. 1 <br /> 2 <br />Council Member Mueller asked if the 5% contingency expense would cover the installation of 3 <br />numbers on each mailbox. City Administrator Ericson noted the contingency was set to cover 4 <br />minor hardware supplies, and did not cover the expense of the numbers. 5 <br /> 6 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Stigney/Mueller. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 7598, 7 <br />Authorizing Purchase of Lumber for Mailbox Posts for the 2010 Street and Utility Improvement 8 <br />Project – Area B/C and Rescinding Resolution 7578. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Council Member Stigney suggested staff seek bids for mailbox numbers to keep them consistent 11 <br />throughout the City. 12 <br /> 13 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 14 <br /> 15 <br />8. CONSENT AGENDA 16 <br /> 17 <br />Council Member Gunn requested Item A be pulled from the Consent Agenda for further 18 <br />discussion. 19 <br /> 20 <br />A. Resolution 7600 Accepting Donation from Bethlehem Baptist Church. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Council Member Gunn thanked Bethlehem Baptist Church for their generous donations to the 23 <br />City. She reviewed the donation amounts being made at this time and the organizations that 24 <br />would benefit. 25 <br /> 26 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adoption Resolution 7600, 27 <br />Accepting Donations from Bethlehem Baptist Church. 28 <br /> 29 <br />Council Member Stigney explained the funds donated by Bethlehem Baptist Church each year 30 <br />were made as part of an agreement reached between the two parties, as the Church was located 31 <br />on tax -exempt property. 32 <br /> 33 <br />Council Member Mueller requested staff draft a thank you from the Council to Bethlehem 34 <br />Baptist Church. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Council Member Hull questioned how much the donations increased each year. City 37 <br />Administrator Ericson believed the increase to be 5% each year. 38 <br /> 39 <br />Mayor Flaherty thanked Bethlehem Baptist Church for the generous donations to the community. 40 <br /> 41 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 42 <br /> 43 <br />9.
