Attached is Resolution 7663, which authorizes severance payment to Sergeant Mike <br />Kampa in accordance with the LELS (Sergeants) Union Contract. <br /> <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Resolution 7663 provides for a payout of Sergeant Kampa’s sick time into his Retirement <br />Health Savings Plan. In accordance with Article 22 of the LELS (Sergeants) Union Contract, <br />Sergeant Kampa is authorized a sick time payout totaling $44,407.16 to his Retirement <br />Health Savings Plan. This is calculated as 1,805.94 accrued/banked sick hours times 65% <br />times his hourly rate of $37.83. <br /> <br />Resolution 7663 also provides for a payout of Sergeant Kampa’s vacation time into his <br />Retirement Health Savings Plan. In accordance with the LELS (Sergeants) Union Contract, <br />Sergeant Kampa is authorized a vacation time payout totaling $7,612.53 to his Retirement <br />Health Savings Plan.
