To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 7683, 12 <br />Approving a Transfer of Business License Ownership for a Gasoline and Cigarette License at 13 <br />Speedway SuperAmerica located at 2640 County Road I. 14 <br /> 15 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 16 <br /> 17 <br />B. 7:10 p.m. Public Hearing, Resolution 7679, To Consider Special Assessments 18 <br />for Delinquent Utility Payments. 19 <br /> 20 <br />Finance Director Beer stated this item is regarding the proposed assessment of delinquent public 21 <br />utility accounts. Individual notices of the meeting were sent by first class mail to the affected 22 <br />property owners on September 24, 2010. Some of the property owners already have paid, or will 23 <br />pay, the amount due by 4:30 P.M. on Monday, October 11, 2010 in order to avoid the $35.00 24 <br />administrative fee. Owners may prepay the assessment between October 12, 2010 and November 25 <br />11, 2010 without paying additional interest. After that, interest at the rate of 5.5% will accrue 26 <br />from October 11, 2010 through the payment date. On or about November 26, 2010, we will 27 <br />forward the assessment roll, minus any prepayments, to Ramsey County for collection with the 28 <br />2011 property taxes.
