To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 7680, To 7 <br />Consider Special Assessments for Unpaid Administrative Offense Fines, Diseased Tree Charges, 8 <br />and Unpaid Property Abatement Charges removing Chris Jarvis’ three-year assessment at 7981 9 <br />Sunnyside Road for 15 days. 10 <br /> 11 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 12 <br /> 13 <br />D. 7:20 p.m. Public Hearing, Resolution 7681, To Consider Special Assessments 14 <br />for Unpaid Service Availability Charges (SAC). 15 <br /> 16 <br />Finance Director Beer stated this item is regarding the proposed assessment of SAC, which is a 17 <br />pass thru charge from Metropolitan Environmental Services. Individual notices of the meeting 18 <br />were sent by first class mail to the affected property owners on September 27, 2010. The 19 <br />property owner may pay the amount due by 4:30 P.M. on Monday, October 11, 2010 in order to 20 <br />avoid the $35.00 administrative fee. The owner may prepay the assessment between October 12, 21 <br />2010 and November 11, 2010 without paying additional interest. After that, interest at the rate of 22 <br />5.5% will accrue from October 11, 2010 through the payment date and on subsequent 23 <br />installments. On or about November 26, 2010, we will forward the assessment roll to Ramsey 24 <br />County for collection with the 2011 property taxes. At the same time, the Church expressed its desire to 42 <br />sponsor and support worthy community endeavors and created the Mounds View Service Project 43 <br />Fund pledging annual donations totaling $25,000.
