<br />8 <br />371276v3 SJS MU125-11 <br />Responsible Authority reasonably determines that if the information was made public or made <br />available to the data subject that the harm to the public or the data subject would outweigh the <br />benefit to the public or the data subject. <br /> <br /> 6.1 People Entitled to Access. <br /> <br />6.1A Public information not about an individual may be shown to anyone. <br />Copyrighted documents will not be reproduced or photocopied without express <br />written permission from the copyright holder. <br /> <br />6.1B Nonpublic information not about an individual may be shown or given to: <br /> <br />6.1B1 An authorized representative of the subject entity of the data, but <br />only once every six months, unless a dispute has arisen or additional data has <br />been collected. <br /> <br />6.1B2 A person who has been given access by the express written consent <br />of the authorized representative of the entity which is the subject of the data. <br /> <br />6.1B3 Persons who are authorized access by the federal, state, or local <br />law or court order. <br /> <br />6.1B4 Persons within the City staff, the City Council, and outside agents <br />(such as attorneys) whose work assignments or responsibilities reasonably <br />require access. <br /> <br />6.1C Protected nonpublic information may not be given to the authorized <br />representative of the entity, but may be given or shown to: <br /> <br />6.1C1 Persons who are authorized access by federal, state, or local law or <br />court order. <br /> <br />6.1C2 Persons within the City staff, the City Council, and outside agents <br />(such as attorneys) whose work assignments or responsibilities reasonably <br />require access. <br /> <br />6.2 Form of Request. Any person may request data verbally or in writing. Data will <br />be released depending on whether or not the City has stored the data requested and <br />whether the data is classified as public, nonpublic, protected nonpublic or is copyrighted. <br /> <br />All requests to view or receive a reproduction of nonpublic or protected nonpublic <br />information must be made in writing in order to verify identity. All requests to receive a <br />reproduction of copyrighted public, nonpublic or protected nonpublic information must <br />be made in writing in order to determine if the request for copyrighted material qualifies <br />for release under copyright law of the United States (Title 17 of the United States Code). <br />The Responsible Authority will provide a form (Exhibit 3) to document the requesting
