Maplewood, Falcon Heights, Roseville, North St. Paul, Little Canada, Lauderdale and St. Paul have lower median household incomes than Mounds View. Table 5 on page 2-8 shows the educational attainment of Mounds View residents. When compared to other cities in Ramsey County, Mounds View residents have a higher rate of not graduating from high school, and a lower rate of college attendance or graduation. From 1990 to 2000, Mounds View’s rate of non-high school graduates decreased from 12.2% to 10.4%, and the rate of residents attending at least some college increased from 47.7% to 54.3%.
