RESOLUTION NO. 7407 <br /> <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> <br /> Adopting a Modification to Sections 2.2 thru 2.4 of the City’s Purchasing Policy <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to maintain a purchasing policy that is up-to-date with <br />Minnesota State Statutes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota statute 471.345 was amended by the legislature to increase the <br />threshold for bid requirements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the policy in sections 2.2 thru 2.4 on uniform municipal contracting would need <br />to be modified to reflect this amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has discussed the proposed changes and wishes to include <br />the modifications in the City’s purchasing policy. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View <br />that the City’s purchasing policy, Sections 2.2 thru 2.4 on uniform municipal contracting, <br />will be modified to reflect the attached wording. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 9th day of February 2009. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> __________________________ <br /> Joe Flaherty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />__________________________ <br /> <br />Jim Ericson, City Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br /> <br />
