<br />RESOLUTION NO. 7423 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Authorizing the Purchase of New Chemical Feed Rate Equipment <br />for Treatment Plant 1 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Water Treatment Plant Number One was completed in 1992, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Chemical Feed Rate Equipment is original, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the isolation valves no longer work, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the feed rate meters are starting to fail and cannot be adjusted, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the adopted 2009 Budget has $25,000.00 allotted in the enterprise <br />Fund, under the water infrastructure and equipment department, capitol equipment (700- <br />4825-3030); and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the proposal for the purchase of new chemical feed rate <br />equipment and needed valves from Larsco Inc for a price of <br />$11,250.00 plus tax is here by approved. <br />2. That the funds to finance this Purchase will be derived from the <br />Enterprise Fund, under the water infrastructure and equipment <br />department, capitol equipment account (account 700-4825-3030), <br />and that any additional funds that may be required are to be <br />derived from the Enterprise Fund, water infrastructure and <br />equipment department contingency account. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 9th day of March, 2009 <br /> <br /> _____________________________________ <br /> Joe Flaherty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> _____________________________________ <br /> James Ericson, Clerk-Administrator <br /> <br />(seal)
