The estimated cost savings by combining the LSWMP map with the MS4 map is approximately $200. o 11”x 17” Map Book = $20 per copy Once we have completed the mapping, we will provide the City with not only hard copy and PDF versions of the MS4 map and map book, but also the GIS shapefiles for all of the stormwater features identified on the map at no additional charge. It will be necessary to update the City’s MS4 map annually to identify new or revised stormwater features; in particular the constructed stormwater features associated with the previous years street project(s). Provided that City Staff has the available resources and time, future MS4 map updates could be completed by City Staff as a cost savings to the City. Compensation Summary Item Cost Labor:Tasks 1-3 (Hourly Work – Estimate)$3,020 Expenses:Printing – 4 copies of the Map Book $80 Total $3,100 V. Schedule Once authorized to proceed, we can complete Tasks 1 through 3 in approximately 2 weeks. We plan to time the completion of Mounds View’s MS4 map with the City Council adoption of the City’s LSWMP and subsequent submittal to the Metropolitan Council by May 1, 2009. VI. Conclusion We are pleased to have this opportunity to offer our services to the City of Mounds View to prepare the necessary MS4 mapping requirements. We are prepared to begin work on this project upon authorization, and look forward to continuing and expanding our working relationship with City Staff through this effort. The Project would be prepared under the supervision and coordination of Brad Schleeter, who is responsible for providing surface water management services to the City. Joe Rhein, as our representative to the City of Mounds View, will be involved to maintain continuity and coordination with other City projects and initiatives.
