<br />RESOLUTION NO. 7434 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE 2008 MOUNDS VIEW CITIZENSHIP AWARD <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Citizenship Award recognizes ordinary citizens <br />who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to improving their communities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Citizenship Award recognizes a Mounds View <br />Resident who represents the energetic, courageous, persistent and informed <br />involvement of an ordinary citizen in the issues and challenges that affect the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, nominations were solicited from the public and were reviewed by the <br />City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Barbara Haake, 3024 County Road I, was selected from the <br />nominations and meets the criteria outlined in the policy; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Barbara Haake, as a citizen of Mounds View, has exemplified the <br />courage and determination to follow her values; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Barbara Haake has demonstrated drive and initiative in her <br />approach to citizenship and has worked steadfastly with various community groups and <br />organizations; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Barbara Haake has volunteered a significant amount of time and <br />energy to further community causes and issues; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, her efforts have generated positive results for the community; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, she has contributed her efforts unselfishly, not expecting anything in <br />return. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby present the 2008 Mounds View Citizenship Award to Barbara Haake, in <br />sincere gratitude and appreciation for efforts as a Mounds View citizen. <br /> <br />Adopted this 13th day of April, 2009 <br /> <br /> <br />______________________________ <br />Joe Flaherty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />______________________________ <br />James Ericson, Clerk-Administrator
