Reports of Mayor and Council. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Council Member Muller reported on a risk management seminar she will be attending on 16 <br />April 15, 2009 with staff and the Anoka County/Blaine Airport Advisory Commission meeting 17 <br />later that same afternoon. 18 <br /> 19 <br /> B. Reports of Staff. 20 <br /> 1. Reminder: Town Hall Meeting, Saturday, April 25, 2009, Mounds 21 <br />View Community Center, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. 22 <br /> 23 <br />Assistant Clerk-Administrator Crane reviewed the activities that will occur at the upcoming 24 <br />Town Hall meeting. 25 <br /> 26 <br />2. Outdoor Special Event Policy. 27 <br /> 28 <br />Assistant Clerk-Administrator Crane advised that under the Outdoor Special Event Policy, City 29 <br />sponsored events (Music in the Park) have to pay a fee and asked for Council direction. 30 <br /> 31 <br />Council consensus was reached to direct staff to prepare an ordinance amendment. 32 <br /> 33 <br />3. Administration Report. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Clerk-Administrator Ericson presented his memorandum of administrative updates. 36 <br /> 37 <br />Clerk-Administrator Ericson advised that the I-35W Corridor Coalition membership fee of 38 <br />$6,000 has not yet been paid, a number of communities have dropped out of the Coalition, and 39 <br />Joseph Strauss would like an opportunity to make a presentation before the Council determines 40 <br />whether to maintain membership.
