RESOLUTION 7478 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />ORDERING THE PROJECT AND <br />AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />AREAS B AND C OF THE STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, on October 13, 2003 the City Council adopted Resolution <br />6110 authorizing the preparation of a Preliminary Feasibility Report and <br />consultant selection for the 2003 Street Improvement Project – Phase II, which <br />later became known as the 2005 Street Improvement Project; and <br />WHEREAS, on March 14, 2005 the City Council held a Public Hearing on <br />the Feasibility Report for the 2005 Street Improvement Project; and <br />WHEREAS, on May 9, 2005 the City Council adopted Resolution 6520 <br />approving the sufficiency of petition in opposition to the 2005 Street Improvement <br />Project, suspending the project; and <br />WHEREAS,on October 22, 2007 the City Council adopted Resolution <br />7176 establishing the Street and Utility Improvement Program, which includes <br />nine Street and Utility Improvement Projects identified as Areas A through I; and <br />WHEREAS, Area B of the Street and Utility Improvement Program is the <br />area formerly identified as the 2005 Street Improvement Project; and <br />WHEREAS, Area B of the Street and Utility Improvement Program is <br />scheduled for construction in 2010; and <br />WHEREAS, on September 22, 2008 the City Council adopted Resolution <br />7339 Authorizing Preliminary Survey Activities For Area C Of The Street and <br />Utility Improvement Program; and <br />WHEREAS,on March 9, 2009 the City Council adopted Resolution 7420 <br />authorizing the preparation of a Preliminary Feasibility Report for Area C of the <br />Street and Utility Improvement Program and selecting Bonestroo as the <br />engineering consultant for the project; and <br />WHEREAS, on July 13, 2009 the City Council adopted Resolution 7477 <br />approving the Preliminary Feasibility Report for Area C of the Street and Utility <br />Improvement Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the development of Area C of the Street and Utility <br />Improvement Program is at a point where it can also be considered for <br />construction in 2010; and
