WHEREAS, it has been determined that an economic benefit will be <br />realized if a combined project for both Area B and Area C of the Street and Utility <br />Improvement Project is undertaken compared to if each project proceeds on its <br />own; and <br />WHEREAS, should the City Council wish to proceed with a Street and <br />Utility Program construction project in 2010, the next step in the project <br />development process is to order the project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1.The improvements for Areas B and C of the Street and Utility <br />Improvement Program are hereby ordered. Said ordering of the <br />improvements shall be valid for a period of eighteen (18) months <br />from the date of adoption of this resolution. <br />2.The improvements shall hereafter be known and referred to as the <br />Areas B and C Street and Utility Improvement Project. <br />3.The financing of said improvements shall be in accordance with the <br />approved finance plan for the Street and Utility Improvement <br />Program. <br />4.The preparation of plans and specifications for said project is <br />authorized. <br />Adopted this 13th day of July 2009. <br />____________________________________ <br />Joe Flaherty, Mayor <br />(ATTEST) <br />____________________________________ <br />James Ericson, Clerk-Administrator <br />(SEAL)
