<br /> <br />YMCA Agreement Report <br />Nov 23, 2009 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />• The YMCA is required to prepare an annual marketing plan for review by the <br />YMCA Advisory Committee. <br />• Eliminated the requirement to establish a Community Center Committee. Such a <br />committee, in retrospect, is unnecessary. <br />• Eliminated the reference to lifeguard services at Lakeside Park. The beach has <br />been closed for years. <br />• Eliminated YMCA access and use of City-owned vehicles. <br />• Deleted reference to the City’s forestry programs. <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff is recommending adoption of Resolution 7531, a resolution approving an agreement <br />for management a recreational services with the YMCA for an initial term of five years with <br />two subsequent five year renewal periods. If the Council should have any questions <br />regarding the agreement or the amendments made since November 2nd Work Session, <br />please let me know.
