Clerk-Administrator Ericson advised 3 <br />that the City’s website has a polling feature that can be used to gain input. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Council consensus was reached to table consideration of the tagline to a future meeting. 6 <br /> 7 <br />CONSIDER EXTENSION OF MEETING 8 <br /> 9 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Stigney/Hull. Resolution 7518, Authorizing Replacement Purchase of Chemical Scales and 14 <br />Chemical Switch-Over Units. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Public Works Director DeBar advised of the need to replace switch-over units and scale 17 <br />equipment. He presented the three verbal quotes received and a recommendation to authorize the 18 <br />purchase of three chemical scales and two chemical switch over units from Larsco, Inc. for a total 19 <br />price of $5,985 plus tax and shipping. It was noted this was not an expected equipment 20 <br />replacement; however, money is available in account 700-4823-7030 for this type of purchase. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Council Member Mueller asked about the importance of the sulfur dioxide scale. Public Works 23 <br />Director DeBar explained it is part of the treatment process and important to assure the correct 24 <br />amount is used. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Mayor Flaherty commented on the importance of converting to an automatic system to assure 27 <br />proper operation. He noted the maintenance fund would be used for this cost. 28 <br /> 29 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull.
