To Approve the Monday, December 10, 2007 City 26 <br />Council Agenda as Presented. 27 <br /> 28 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 29 <br /> 30 <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT 31 <br /> 32 <br />Connie Hammes said that she did not want to provide her address. She then explained that 33 <br />privacy and the internet, and protecting children are very important. She further said that she 34 <br />came across a matter that needs consideration and action of the Council. She did a Google 35 <br />search using her child’s name, and she was surprised to see every time that he had been in front 36 <br />of Council, his name and address were listed, and that concerns her. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Ms. Hammes asked Council to list the names of juveniles, but not addresses to protect them. 39 <br /> 40 <br />Council Member Flaherty asked whether addresses are required, and why the City asks for them. 41 <br /> 42 <br />Attorney Riggs indicated that most City Councils do so to confirm that people are residents of 43 <br />the City. 44 <br /> 45
