Public Hearing on Resolution 7191 Adopting the 2008 Property Tax Levy and 10 <br /> Resolution 7192 Adopting the 2008 Budgets for All Funds 11 <br /> 12 <br />Mayor Marty opened the public hearing at 7:13 p.m. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Finance Director Beer provided an overview of the property tax levy and budget for Council and 15 <br />those in attendance. 16 <br /> 17 <br />Hearing no public comment Mayor Marty closed the public hearing. 18 <br /> 19 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Mueller. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7191, 20 <br />Adopting the 2008 Property Tax Levy. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Mayor Marty complimented Staff for cutting the budget back to hold this increase to 0%. 23 <br /> 24 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Finance Director Beer provided an overview of Resolution 7192 Adopting the 2008 Budgets for 27 <br />All Funds. 28 <br /> 29 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7192, 30 <br />Adopting the 2008 Budgets for All Funds. 31 <br /> 32 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 33 <br /> 34 <br />B. Public Hearing to consider the Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance 800, 35 <br />Revising Section 12.13 of the Mounds View City Charter Pertaining to 36 <br />Miscellaneous and Transitory Provisions Associated with the Frequency of the 37 <br />Preparation of the City Newsletter 38 <br /> 39 <br />Mayor Marty opened the public hearing. 40 <br /> 41 <br />Interim Administrator Ericson requested that Council continue the public hearing to January to 42 <br />allow the Charter Commission time to consider the proposed language changes. 43 <br /> 44 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Flaherty. To Continue the Public Hearing to January 14, 2008. 45
