He then said that this is the first reading, and there will 2 be time to review any other information provided by Mr. Sonterre and ClearChannel. 3 4 Mayor Marty indicated that he takes exception to this, because the volume of information was a 5 lot to take in and the timing of this was not carried forth correctly by Mr. Riggs. He then said 6 that he has asked about this and talked to Interim Administrator Ericson about this, and there 7 seems to have been time to get this done prior to the 11th hour. 8 9 Mayor Marty said that he feels that this is almost gross negligence to rush this through, because 10 discussions could have been had on this matter since July. 11 12 Mayor Marty said that the last piece of information on a study to be completed in 2009 troubles 13 him the most, because that leaves the City and Clear Channel sitting on the fence for another year 14 or longer. 15 16 Council Member Mueller indicated that five or six of these documents pertain to information that 17 came out in October or November. In speaking with the City of Minnetonka on these matters, 18 even though they had materials in time for the June meeting, they were nowhere finished 19 wrapping things up in June. She then said that the SRF information, and information from the 20 City of Minnetonka, was not available until October. She further said that there has been a great 21 deal of effort by the Staff to ensure that the timing requirements are met. 22 23 Mayor Marty indicated that he takes exception to the fact that there were not even any updates 24 provided to the City on this matter by Mr. Riggs over the course of the year. 25 26 Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 27 28 8.
