<br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7221 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING A ONE DAY CHARITABLE GAMBLING PERMIT <br />FOR THE TWIN CITIES NORTH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO CONDUCT <br />CHARITABLE GAMBLING AT THE MERMAID ENTERTAINMENT AND EVENT <br />CENTER IN MOUNDS VIEW <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce has requested <br />that the Council allow them to conduct charitable gambling at The Mermaid <br />Entertainment and Event Center on March 1, 2008; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board required that the local unit of <br />government pass a resolution specifically approving or denying requests to <br />conduct charitable gambling; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Twin Cities North Chamber is in compliance with all <br />requirements of the Mounds View Municipal Code with regard to charitable <br />gambling regulations. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City <br />Council does hereby authorize the Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce to <br />conduct charitable gambling at The Mermaid Entertainment and Event Center on <br />March 1, 2008. <br /> <br /> Adopted this 11th day of February, 2008. <br /> <br /> <br /> ___________________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ___________________________________ <br /> Jim Ericson, Interim City Administrator <br /> <br />(seal)
