Reports of Mayor and Council 27 28 Council Member Mueller noted that Irondale High School held their Annual “Winter Music of 29 the Knight” competition hosting 12 drum line units and 16 color guard groups. Irondale 30 performed in exhibition as they were the hosts of the event. It was an outstanding performance. 31 32 B. Reports of Staff 33 34 Interim Administrator Ericson noted that as of April 1, 2008 there will be an increase in the gas 35 tax due to an override of the Governor’s veto. He then said that the Legislature is considering 36 administrative fines. 37 38 Interim Administrator Ericson further noted that Mn/DOT has said that the noise wall must be 39 connected to the existing noise wall, and they have budgeted $300,000 toward that project. 40 There is a plan that shows that they would need three feet of right of way and 15 feet of 41 maintenance easement that Council would need to consider. 42 43
